Sparkys and Sparkettes

I am running some 2.5mm SWA from my house to a garage.

Should I twist together the steel armour and connect to earth?

you should be using the correct glands to terminate the cable both ends which include "banjo's" ( or whatever the local sparks call them in your area.. )

are you sure 2.5 is big enough ?
it doesnt sound very future proof.it might be a socket and light now but what about a couple of years from now.


not being rude mate but your question on terminating the steel wire makes me wonder if you are competent to carry out the works.you will have to notify so why not get a quote from a sparks
