Hi,

Daft question I'm sure, but I'm laying SWA (about 40m of 10mm2) to a new workshop building which will have its own CU, circuit and ground spike. I want to do the donkey work and laying the cable before calling a pro to terminate etc.

I was surprised by the difference in price between the 2 and 3-core SWA of this weight. Do I need three core given the SWA sheath and building will have independent earth anyway?

Advice much appreciated, thanks.
