Swap British Gas UP1 controller to ESI ES3247B Multi Purpose Central Heating Programmer

Hi All.

I am planning to swap the controller for my below system. Would it be easy to swap around?

I would like CH1 on thermostat & timer and CH2 only on timer.

can be done but will need wiring changes, you are swapping a two channel programmer for a 3 channel one, the wiring will need altered

You may be better off with 2 programmable room thermostats. Leave the programmer you have and set heating for constant then set via 2 room stats.
