Hi all, i moved recently in a new house and realised that there is no external room thermostat wired but just mechanical timer on the boiler.
The boiler is like that one:

I watched so many videos on Internet but i am still confused about which thermostat is compatible with this boiler. Here is some photos with internal wiring and connector on the boiler:

Can somebody advise if it is compatible with Halo Smart Thermostat, Ideal Heating Electronic Thermostat or Google Nest and if so which option is better.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you. I believe only the Ideal controller can fit on the same place as the mechanical timer and Google Nest needs additional wiring.

Hi, it looks like the Ideal 7 day wireless stat is compatible with your boiler. Here are the install manual - https://idealheating.com/uploads/do...mmable_Room_Thermostat_Installation_Guide.pdf This might be the neatest / simplest solution. Your boiler supports OpenTherm, so any smart stat with OpenTherm support will work. You just need to follow the instructions to connect two connectors together to enable the open therm terminals.
