Swapping flexi

Could I swap this Flexi by just undoing the nut, leaving original nut and olive on pipe and installing to new flexi. With adding paste or PTFE to the olive

Yes, I'd probably put a couple of wraps of ptfe around the olive but it'd probably be fine without.

Only caveat I'd add to that would be if the original has been necked by overtightening, so always worth a check. If not then a quick clean of the olive and a wrap of gas tape should see it being fine.
