Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. I have a wire running from underfloor heating controller to the boiler. Sometimes the ufh controller loses signal to the wireless drayton wiser hub. When this happens, it automatically fires the boiler (to keep the pipes warm) in summer temperatures are high so I am not worried about pipes getting frozen.

Is it possible to add a switch between the wire that connects to the ufh controller and the wire that goes into the boiler? (Basically just cut the wire) Just to break the connection which I can turn it off during summer months and keep it on during autumn and winter. Thanks, lk
