My trusty old switchmaster 900 has died... The timer no longer works. It seems to have odd wiring, with the ch off wire (channel 2) wired into the neutral connection (blue)

I have tried with no success to fit a Sunvic 207xl (spare from a friend) as it will not fire the boiler.

Can anyone advise if this wiring is normal, and recommend a replacement - digital preferred to be able to set different timings for the weekend.

Can you post pics of wiring and controls, although its not usual to have terminal 2 connected it is not necessarily wrong
