I posted this question in 'Central Heating' section too in the hope that someone out there will know the answer for certain! With the Switchmaster SM400 programmer, can you have the heating on 'timed' and the water on 'constant', or are both water and heating on the same setting the only option?

Thats quite an old programmer so it may not be possible.
The wiring configuration should be Ok for a more modern replacement with all the bells and whistles
