Hi I need to put a 15mm T connection on my hot water system but there is no play in the pipes to move them apart is there any tricks to get a good connection on this ?

You only need play of around 10mm to fit a T. You do know that to fit a T, you need to cut the pipe twice, to remove a section?
You can get 15mm slip tee's but these are all soldered fittings. Haven't seen a compression slip tee but you never know.

Cut a section of pipe out and fit the Tee at one end and a slip coupler at the other end.
Or buy a compression slip coupler, or an ordinary coupler, and file the stop out, takes seconds.
