Table top mitre saw or separate table saw and mitre?

My old (and very cheap) sliding compound mitre saw has finally died its death and I'm looking for a replacement.

My dilemma is whether to opt for a table top one (such as the Dewalt 27111, which I can pick up for around £350-£400 on fleabay or the Bosch GTM12 - although the Bosch isn't sliding...) or get a decent quality sliding mitre saw (I'm a bit of a Bosch man, so the GCM8S or GCM10S are the current favourites) and a separate (cheapish) table saw (Ryobi or similar).

Mainly needed for refurbishing my house (flooring, skirting, window boards, boxing in a lot of exposed pipes and any general chopping up of timber where power tools are more fun etc etc).

Portability and space not really an issue.
Any thoughts, comments or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

saw an ad in the paper yesterday for machine mart and there doing a wolf sliding mitre saw and table for £130,now that seems a good bargain?but i do not have any experience with it.
