TABLET HARD DRIVE

Evening all
Is there any way of permanently erasing selected items from a hard drive ?
I've recovered some accidently deleted items which I want to keep but
want to erase the other items that the program recovered.
The tablet in question is a Lenovo A7600-F

The simple answer is probably not as it will use a flash drive. One method is to totally overwrite the flash drive, although this will severely reduce its life span. A hard reset would probably make it far more difficult to recover old data i.e. Dissembling the tablet and using special tools to extract data from the storage processor.

If its not an SSD (flash) drive use can use DBAN (boot and nuke) from sourceforge.net otherwise you need to do a secure erase. Do a Google search for secure erase ssd.
