...to pay Peter?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-3-000-reduction-university-tuition-fees.html

It's all a load of old tosh anyway since about a half if student loans will never be repaid anyway  So what does it matter how much tuition fees are changed to? Presumably Labour thinks that youngsters are more likely to be easily bought, especially after 5 years of tough times, and that pensioners are more capable of looking at Milliband and Balls and recognising a pair of numpties.

Typical bribery and social engineering at its worst

Dont be so sure that the Student Loans will never be repaid.

The Tories want to privatise the Student Loan Scheme and sell it off.

A Private Consortium will change the rules and ensure Students end up having to pay it off in a much shorter time.

They may but surely that would change an existing contract, the students took the loan based on the existing rules.
ISTR that things like that allow them to then cancel the contract without repaying it.
