I am considering removing the chimney breast from bedroom and diningroom. It is 1 breast that is at the rear of my house and i want to remove it to loft level.I cant take it to roof level as i still need the chimney breast at the front of the house for the livingroom gas fire.It is on a party wall. What do i need to do as regards to planning permission ,3rd party wall agreement, structural engineer? Also how would the stack be supported in the loft? The stack is around 4' x 2' on the roof.
