We have extended our kitchen into an outhouse which in parts has soil up against the outside wall. This is an old stone property. To tank the internal wall, prior to a concrete floor being laid, it has been suggested we use a heavy duty pond liner as a DPM on the internal wall. Would this be acceptable? Or are we likely to encounter any future problems using this method.
