Tap Question

Hi there
I wondered if you could help me? I've been trying to find out how to change the washer (or ceramic disc?) on my tap but I have no idea how to get to it. I've changed washers before but I just can't figure out how to get to this one. I hope you can help. Many thanks

Forget it, change the tap. It will be a lot less hassle.

I don't like mono sink/basin mixers. Essentially the cartridges have a habit of failing. If you need (quite obviously) a 1 tap hole mixer I'd go for a mixer with separate hot and cold valves (heads) Rather than a mono lever and also instead of 1/4 or 1/2 turn I'd opt for a bog standard, old fashioned twist twist twist (open) twist twist twist (closed) spindle tap. Then instead of 1 day after the guarantee goes and the cartridge fails... you can wait and eternity for the washer to wear.... 10... 15... 20 years!??? Who knows....???
