Tapping sound coming from under the bath tub

Hi I have got a wierd one

As mentioned above, there is a constant tapping sound coming from the bath tub, it's like someone is tapping a spoon on a mental pipe under the bath tub on one of the taps :>

Any ideas on this would be appreciated as its extremely annoying!

Quite possible a pipe expanding and contracting as it heats and cools. If it doesn't have sufficient room to move then the noise results.

Is it all the time..or when filling the bath...or when heating coming on ?

The tapping is constant; we have tried to turn the mains and the heating off but no joy!

Get the front off the bath and have a look
