Taps Whistling

Hello

Usually once a day, one or both of my hot water taps (upstairs & downstairs) will whistle when turned on. if you turn them off & then on again, it stops.

You can hear it right through the pipes.

Any ideas?!?

Sounds like a split washer, air or water passing through the split causing it to whilstle!

Simple fix, Strip tap, take insert out, change washer. Hopefully this helped you! =]
