Tarmac a Path

The golf club what to tarmac a path.
Its had wood edginging about 12/15" off hardcore.
Its about 6ft X 50ft, they have left about 2" for the tarmac.
They have had a quote of £3.5k, it seems a lot of ££ to me.
Did a little bit of gooogling didnt see any prices, is it charged by the linear or cubic.
Any guestimate on a price would be appreciated

I can't help with the price but it might help you (or anyone quoting a price) to know that 50' by 6' by 2" is a little under 2 cubic yards or a little under 1.5 cubic metres.

I had worked out by the ton..etc.
What I was looking for was what sort of price...also can this be cold tarmac. I reckon as they have framed it why not fill it with gravel.
