Tecumseh refridgerator compressor start device availability

Hi folks,

I have a Tecumseh compressor (Type THB 1330 MKS) on a Hotpoint larder fridge. The start device is totally burnt out. Fell apart in my hands. The compressor windings all test ok, approximately 78 Ohms between pins, Infinite resistance to earth. So the motor seems ok. I understand that a Danfoss start relay can't be used on these compressors. Any one know different?
Also, any idea where I can source a replacement start device? The case marking is 'BRPT2116' & 'SR273104'

If your compressor is of the three pin variety you should have 3 readings

Pin A to B = X ohms (Start to Common)
Pin B to C = Y ohms (Run to Common)
Pin A to C = X + Y ohms (Start and Run)
