We are having an extension done and they will be breaking through and removing back French doors/windows which currently have contacts and 1 PIR will also need to be temp removed. What is the correct way to temporarily remove them from the system so we won't get errors whilst arming rest of system?

Bump.

Any advice? If I just twist each set of cables on themselves will that complete the circuit and system will identify as closed/secure?

Yes, but I would rather not deactivate complete zones for example I have 2 kitchen doors and only one is affected by works and both on same zone, my question is if possible eg to twist the deactivated contact wires together and alarm will see as ok?

Sorry not sure how can I check this?

Not sure if as anything but I can see that the window contacts are daisy chained.

If they are chaisy changed, then yes you can twist the pair in the contact together
If resistor wired then you can only isolate by making zone spare in programming

Great very much appreciated. Would twisting also work for PIR?

If the pir is staying in situ then twisting alarm pair inside pit will work. Leaving the power connections and tamper circuit infected.
If resistor wired then that will not work need to isolate via programming

If not staying in situ can I disconnect PIR and just twist cables or are they differently connected/wired for tamper?

Twist tamper pair together and cover with tape
Twist alarm pair together and cover with tape
Carefully cut of volts and cover with tape and now cou +volts and cover with tape
DO NOT TWIST +&- WIRES TOGETHER

Sorry I dont seem to have as many cables as you mentioned - or are there more behind the facia?

Which of these wires would I twist together?
I can see
Yellow = Tamper
Blue = Alarm
Red = 12 V
Black = cant see...

That sensor is wired EOL (resistor)
Go into zone programming via engineer mode
Go to that zone number and make zone not used
Disconnect power is above
Can not short out by twisting wires together

Ok, very much appreciated.

PIR is on same zone as another PIR and I rather not disable whole zone. Is it reasonable to just use another piece of alarm cable and twist the correct colour to correct colour and reconnect it allowing to hang in a safe space? or perhaps electric connector block.
