Hello,

I have a Glow-worm Ultracom 30cxi Condensing Boiler.

Inside is a 'three way valve'. This valve is controlled via what I assume to be an actuator (with micro-switches?) connected to 4 wires, white, orange, blue & green.

Q1) is the actuator to control the valve position which is returned via a spring or an actuator with full powered in AND out control? (if you get my drift).

Q2) Does anyone know which wires to put a meter across to test for an 'on' (move the actuator) voltage?

Thanks,

Andy

Thanks chap.

Good diagram, but I *think* that is for external mains wiring of a complete heating system.

What I am taking about is INTERNAL wiring to a three port valve from the control board within the combi-boiler itself.

Jist of the matter is that I want to know if the control board is shagged or if the actuator 'motor' on the three port valve is shagged.

Cheers,

Andy
