Hi can someone please give me some advice for checking solder work on fittings and also on speedfit before drylining walls and cielings. Is there a difference between cold and hot water when checking your connections. Someone has told me that it may be fine when testing with cold water, but then there could be a problem when testing with hot.
Cheers.

Hi jpc, it's not a massive project and I was thinking of blanking the ends and connecting each one to the main supply. My only concern is, because the boiler is not yet connected I will only have a cold water check, not a hot water check. If there are no problems when connecting the cold feed, is this sufficient.
Cheers.
