You've misspelt "refuse to" see the obvious.
Their ideology overrides their awareness. I'd call it "unwoke". If woke is being aware of social and political issues and current affairs, unwoke must be unaware, or refusal to be unaware of those issues.
On Sky News this morning there's a piece about government contracts out for tender now for migrant hotels. Apparently, some of these contracts run into the 2030s.
