It’s not fair, is it?

poor Mottie is angry

first he claims my point about Reform being stooges for Russia....Mottie has little hissy fit and says Im being childish

then I provide the evidence and Mottie has another hissy fit and says the thread isnt about Reform being a puppet for Putin

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Because none of them can be connected or compared, can they.

If only life was that simple that you only need to consider 1 thing in order to make an opinion.

No wonder 3 word slogans work
Looks like the nerds are forming a classroom gang.

lol
It can be argued Tory policies have caused a homeless crisis after years of austerity and mismanagement.
And what are Labour doing about it? They obviously have rooms for those coming to this country from abroad, so why not rooms for our own?

...

FFS THIS THREAD IS ABOUT HOMELESS. ...
No it's not. Reread your OP. It's about conflating the accommodation for asylum seekers with homeless people.
The two are funded differently. There are numerous organisations whose raison d'etre is the support for UK's veterans.
The provision of accommodation for other homeless people is the responsibility of local authorities.
The government fund the accommodation for asylum seekers via private contractors. (Who are raking in the profits)

And what are Labour doing about it? They obviously have rooms for those coming to this country from abroad, so why not rooms for our own?
The funding, provisions and organisations are different and separate, and cannot be compared, transferred nor conflated,
except by someone who is intent on exploiting an unconnected social issue to foment hatred against asylum seekers.

it wasnt Labour that forced councils to flog 1.5million council houses

would you prefer it if the people arriving in small boats end up on the streets?

(and dont bother saying: I dont want them coming here at all....the fact is they do come here from France)

Was that just before or after Brexit?

How about putting them in the same accommodation that they are used to in France?

France provides as good or better asisstance for asylum seekers, in France.
They have no responsibility for asylum seekers in UK, nor for those intending to seek asylum in UK.
In France, asylum seekers are entitled to a monthly allowance (ADA), housing, health coverage (after three months for adults), and the right to legal assistance. They also have the right to apply for work after one year, subject to labor market conditions, and can pursue educational or training opportunities while their claim is processed.
