The Bell hotel. Looks like it’s set a precedent.

Which suggests a figure of £81 per night, per person, or £567 per week. Is that really an acceptable cost, plus all the extra costs on top, for someone who arrives here on an inflatable boat, basically an invader, with no background, and no paperwork to give a clue who they are, who they might be? Add to that, they are free to come and go, as they please, and mix with the local population. Free to buy themselves an e-bike, and work for one of the delivery companies, and done so blatantly, they keep the bikes at the hotels. That is just encouraging more to risk their lives on inflatable boats, crossing the channel.

I say again - the correct thing to do, is to put such arrivals under close-arrest, in a guarded compound. Something similar to the POW camps, quickly set up during the last war, would be more than adequate. Just deliver fuel, the food for them to cook - keep them there, until they can be processed.

Stop the encouragement to make their way over, and they will not be so desperately keen to take the risk.

The £567 per week, is a figure that the pensioners, homeless, and vets can only dream of, having spent their life paying into the system. Why are we treating these invaders, better than our own?

Nigel has certainly worried him and is listening to his supporters hoping to save himself. Poor old U turn doesnt. get it at all.
