Guys,

We've all used different glues for different tasks and recently i was talked into buying something called www.supa-fix.com for repairing plastic and was very surprised at how good it was which made me think what else is there?

With all the different brands out there which ones have you used, and for what type of repair?

:D

Looks interesting is it very easy to run into a gap or more of a paste?

P.S.
For paper there is a teenage glue that sticks the pages of playboy together firmly!

My wife makes some excellent glues. Many's the time I've put a pan in the dishwasher three or more times before the residue is removed.
I'm afraid I don't know the recipe (I daren't ask) but I think it might contain eggs.

Years ago, I always used Araldite two part adhesive for most repairs. I haven't used it recently so don't know if it is still as good or whether N.E.R.D. (New European Regression department) has changed all the ingredients.

I have used this stuff recently (not a glue exactly). I used it to plug a gap behind a door frame so that I could then screw into it to fix hinges and it was very good. http://www.diy.com/departments/unibond-putty-30g-pack-of-6/189992_BQ.prd
