In my junk/spam email folder I've received this, from a Mr X:

Your email account was selected for a donation of 6,500,000 Euros. Contact us for more info

That's it. Nothing about being an African King, nothing about being from the FBI.

Obviously I've contacted them for more info as I want my money, however you think they could have put a bit more effort into their official communication.
