I heard on the radio that welfare now uses a larger part of the budget than NHS, education and defence combined.

It's a rampaging out-of-control behemoth - and it simply has to be stopped. We can't continue to borrow TEN BILLION POUNDS - month in an month out.

The buffers are in the near distance - there's going to be a train wreck before very long at all.

Our credit rating is under pressure yet again and the lenders will soon fear that they will never see their money again.

Then what?

Good news. Nearly 900,000 have dropped their claims to incapacity benefit because of new tough medical examinations brought in by the coalition.

Slowly but surely they are cutting out the rot. But what a way left to go.
Gives you an idea of the criminal irresponsibility of the last labour government.
