The last stainless sink we bought from Franke was definitely made of thinner steel than one we bought from franke a good few years back. Is this the case? Are there manufacturers that make sinks out of sturdier steel?
How much did you pay for it ?, was a tap included in the price ? Do you know the name of the sink ? Where did you buy it from ?.Do you know where it was made, sometimes says on the packaging (or there are other clues). Is it a fake ?.
Fitting one for a neighbour tomorrow a Franke inset (smooth) its a sturdy sink. Fitted a lot of Franke ss kitchen sinks in the past and the better ones are made of at least 1.2mm steel.
