We have just had a new boiler, conventional Valiant and kept the programmer as it works.
The first bit of bad news after installation, is that using the programmer, I could not switch off the rads that came on. I asked the plumber (who I have not used before and is not communicative) if it is possible that new valves could be faulty. He said no, the programmer is at fault but I am wondering why a programmer goes wrong just at the exact time that a new boiler has gone in.
Next at night, I turned the heating right off using the programmer and they came on in the morning.
Is it my programmer and the plumber thinks I am a fool? I probably am but I will be most grateful for your comments.
Regards
Alan
