I'd like to see Scotland gain their independence. That would allow us to see the last of Labour in England.

Wales would also have to get full independence as well. In parts of south-east Wales (at least) if a donkey was put up for election with a Labour/Lafur banner around his neck he would be elected!

It's true. Labour strongholds are the industrial areas of the North, Scotland, Wales and the Midlands.

You'd think that, being born and brought up in one of those areas I'd be a staunch Labour supporter, but I'm not - I'm one who has broken the mould.

My dad would be rolling in his grave!
