The two Bobs

bizzarre because of the meaning of it
It means freedom, for a certain group of people that currently have limited freedoms.

Why is that in any way controversial?

It's not hate speech against Israel just because that's the opinion of Judge Rinder.

I wish freedom for Palestinian people wherever they find themselves on this Earth, from all the rivers to all the seas, like the rest of us currently enjoy.

This unfunny idiot uses racism as an excuse for talent, he's a modern day Jim Davidson.

What did he say that was racist, or is it the fact he's exposing your racism you find particularly unfunny.

I've seen his other stuff, he appeals to pillocks.

This is how you do it. An actual articulate comedian.

That is an interesting point. But it is not the squaddies who decide what actions are taken by an army. I would imagine any critique is aimed at those in charge.

So many other ways to say that.

I am finding it interesting that so many people who previously said they supported free speech have now changed their views.
I don’t think people have changed their views. Most people can see the difference between free speech and inciting hatred and violence.

Early in his set he talks to camera and reassures the bbc that he will behave…and then doesn’t.

It was a calculated fame grab.

Eloquently put.

I agree. The people I am thinking about have never really supported free speech in the first place. It is just a convenience when it suits them.

Most people can see the difference between free speech and inciting hatred and violence.

Only when it suits them. As someone who is neutral, I have found all the hypocrisy extremely amusing. It is fine to say that both Lucy Connolly and Bob Vylan were wrong. But to keep plugging the line that Connolly is innocent whilst having a meltdown over Glastonbury is blatant hypocrisy.

I don't reckon they will get 2 1/2 years jail.
If your argument about the language used being a proxy attack they will surely get much longer. Noting in fairness that no charges have been brought or any convictions made.
