The nuke, airburst, ground zero impact or one in the sea to cause a tidal wave up to 2000 feet high dependent where in the sea it was dropped, is the reality of nukes these days.
Nukes vary in size from something a hundred times smaller than the bombs dropped on Japan by the great USA or up to 2700 times larger impact than those.
Time to ground zero could be from a few seconds, ie artillery launched a localised nuke, to Satan 2 from USSR to UK in 37 seconds to Manchester/Leeds,Scotland etc to about 3 to 6 minutes. The newer nukers are often larger warheads and often multi-headed nukes in one rocket.
There are nukes that have been made that are designed to throw out a lot more radiation and those that carry chemical weapons as secondary devices.
Newer nukes some of them ie Satan 2 designed to by=pass all anti-missile systems but if it was taken out, high chance it will still cause a nuclear blast that is about 90% of what it should have been. The older nukes would not detonate a nuclear blast if taken out before ground zero.
I heard someone say that underground stations are being chosen for command and control and those that would be easier to defend from the ordinary joe on the streets ie those left standing and able to walk after a attack.
I blame the UK/USA and some NATO of winding up a deranged Putin and his chumps. These politicians from both sides are ok as they have shelters and then places to go and sadly the Americans are working on the basis like the Russians their countries are large and many would survive or some will that will look after the politicians. You are aware of the size of the UK
The sooner this ends and NATO etc stops expanding the better. The sooner a UN force is in around east of Ukraine the better. Best of all putin is taken out and the west is pulled up about their tactics of causing trouble in other countries.
