Looking to get a half decent but half cheap woodworking vice. Seen a few old ones on fleaBay, anyone heard of Parkinson? Any good?

Would like to get an all-singing/dancing quick release big jaws Record but can't really stretch to it at the moment. ( No pun intended, honest! )

You're not kidding, I just replaced the wooden jaw-liners on a Record vice that my Dad bought in the 50's! Still a good vice.
