Hi, this is my first post here so please be gentle with me!
I have a Saunier Duval Thema F23 E boiler and I am having serious problems with this to the point of having to turn my central heating off and only use the hot water (very cold flat though!)
About a year and a half ago an engineer came out commented that my pressure was low, attached a metal hose between two valves and did something with a screwdriver which made a lot of water enter the boiler and pushed the pressure up.
The problem I have now is when I turn the central heating on the pressure shoots right up to about 3.5 and the boiler makes a really loud screeching noise a bit like a kettle boiling and there is a loud hissing.
When I unscrew either end of the silver hose loads and loads of water rushses out of my boiler but this doesn't affect the pressure. Any attempt to turn the small screw on the bottom of the right hand valve makes no difference to the pressure inside the boiler.
What on earth is going on with my boiler and how can I get the pressure down? It is obviously far too high which I think is the cause of my problem. I think the boiler is constantly filling up possibly due to one of those valves on attached to the metal pipe being broken.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks
