I live in a little flat with the windows open all the time due to "condensation" problems and a massive mould and damp problem. I have complained to the estate agents many times over the 3 months we have been living here but to no avail. So, I'm trying to deal with it without them - bought little dehumidifiers, already quite damp, keeping doors shut when I cook or have a shower etc..
Couldn't sleep last night because I was too cold even with the electric blanket on so I was thinking about, instead of short bursts of heating, whether keeping it on a low constant temperature would be better for keeping the flat warm since the insolation is RUBBISH!
What settings does the boiler need to be on to accomplish a cheapish, constant temperature?
And price difference? From high short bursts : 2-5 hours twice a day, roughly to a low constant temperature?
