Thermocouples ??

If your pilot holds occasionally you can rule out the T.T.B if it has one,this leave a worn thermocouple or a worn mag valve.
 
In that case the thermocouple is either failing or one of the connections is loose.

BTW, my apologies for thinking it was a cooker-type stove. :oops:
