thermostactic bath mixer no hot water

hi there
my inlaws have recently moved into a new house with all new heating and hot water system. It has a system boiler and mega flo tank, (unvented?).

The water from the bath having been fine to start with then became intermittent and now there is no hot water at all. contacted manufactures of tap who sent new cartridge/valve which i fitted to no avail. the hot water is fine in all other taps.

Its as if the hot water pipe is blocked is this possible? the tap is a freestanding one there is no ball valve on the pipe and as the floor is now tiled the only access would be through the ceiling of the room below. help

Sounds like it could possibly be blocked. Is it possible to disconnect the tap and direct the pipe into the bath so that you can flush it through. maybe by extending the pipe through the tap hole using a suitable fitting? At least you will know if the water is reaching the tap or not.

i guess thats the next step. this means moving the bath as it too is free standing with the tap between bath and wall. nightmare.
