Hello all

Long time since I've been on here (had to re-register). Anyway, we had a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler fitted a couple of months ago (and very nice it is too.) The thermostat fitted downstairs at the same time is a Honeywell CM907 programmable 7 day thermostat. I've programmed in the same times for each day (including weekends) as follows: 1. 6.10am at 18 degrees, 2. 7.00am at 18 degrees, 3 and 4 are disabled, 5. 5.50pm at 18 degrees and 6. 10.00pm at 18 degrees.

However, I've just put it on automatic now (2.10pm) and the heating on indicator symbol lit up and the heating has come on. The time and dates are correct. I'm assuming the 1. is on and 2. is off and so on.

Have I made a schoolboy error somewhere with the programming or could it be faulty?

Regards

Matt

from what i read you have the temp set at 18 deg so it will come on if its below that
put your "off" temp lower

Excellent, yes thanks that works. I was used to the old on/off type timer where off meant off. As you say if the temperature is set high enough it is likely to be on most of the time. I guess that's why they call it settings 1-6 rather than on and off.

Thanks again.
