I'm shortly having a new combi boiler fitted (by a gas-safe installer) & my existing system flushed/inhibited & the guys wants to install a minimum of 2 TV's. Our lounge & diner always gets the warmest in winter & retains it's heat to the point where we can turn off the CH (at the room-stat) later in the evening, but then the remainder of the (single storey) home gets cold. I've every faith in the installer but he suggest fitting the TV's in the bedrooms & bathroom when surely, given the circumstances I've described, the devices would be better suited to the lounge/diner?
Secondly, do TV's save on running costs or just help regulate the room temperature?
Many thanks in advance for any advice.

TRVs give each room individual control and should save on running costs
