Hi all,

We are thinking of starting a project of loft conversion. As we have limited budget for now, we are thinking of just boarding our loft so that we can walk on it and store things. Later, if we decided to convert the rest to a livable room (i.e. bedroom), would the boards have to be taken apart and re-do if we decided to made it an official forth bedroom?

10 Photos attached so you get a rough idea of what's look like at the moment.

Regards,
Simon CARDIFF

Yes they would, because properly specified floor joists would need to be fitted, along with insulation between them, for fire protection.

Cheers
