On a job at the moment where I have been given a free hand to sort everything out, to the book, while the client is away on holiday.

These are my findings so far...

25mm2 tails with a couple of strands cut in order to make them fit into the old wylex standard board, The 16mm2 G/Y was in a similar state.

Tails run very much out of zone, from the looks of it, because the installer did not have a long (600mm) 25mm2 masonry bit.

Lets joint this ring final with 5A blocks. Found 3 instances of this so far.

Burnt out dimmer, amazingly, it was still working! Causing the MCB feeding it to buzz a bit tho...

My mate on a very slow day on site.

"Everything 50p"!?

I'll have a complete house rewire thanks :P

Cert will cost oyu an extra £1.50, plus labour, plus extras plus compensation events...

I only went in to change a light switch... lol
