Been having problems, first thing was the Fan Limit control switch wires melting, i have stripped these back and resoldered. Now the fuses blow as soon as the power is switched on. The fuse that blows is always one of the 3AMP fuses between the Supply to Transformer and the mains.

Thought could be a problem with fan, but the same problem happens if try with the fan disconnected.

Is the Transformer likely to be faulty?

Stop playing about with it when it runs correctly it's perfectly safe but when you start resoldering things and unplugging this and that. It's your safety I'm thinking about also because you've been making self repairs you may find that an engineer won't be interested in coming to make repairs. You need a Corgi reg repair person who is qualified in warm air units to make the repair. If you can't find one contact Corgi and they will
help you with someone in your area, IT'S YOUR SAFETY!
