thorn boiler keeps tripping rcd

Hi can anyone offer any advice?
I have just had a new electric consumer unit fitted with an rcd protection.
My thorn olympic boiler although old was working perfectly but now keeps tripping the rcd and shutting off.However it did work ok for the first 2 days after the fitting of the consumer unit.Any suggestions/help would be very much appreciated,ThankQ,

If it was OK for 2 days after the new unit was fitted, I would be inclined to forget about the new unit as a matter of coincidence and treat the symptoms you have i.e. if the boiler is tripping the rcd, then the boiler has an electrical fault.
