Thorn EMI Apollo 30/50B cuts out

I STILL have a problem with my Thorn EMI Apollo 30/50B boiler and wonder if anyone can help me. The serial no. is 8502294624 and the G.C. no. is 41 789 54

I have fitted a new pilot light shroud ( thanks Namsag ) and everything now works fine when the diverter valve is completely on Hot Water. If I move it over to heating there is a click and the burner shuts off and the pilot goes out. If I re-light the pilot and put the diverter back to Hot Water everything works OK again.

Sounds like a DV problem, could be blocked/stuck so on CH there is no flow through the pipes so the boiler overheats causing the pilot to go out as this is connected to the overheat stat on this boiler I believe.
