Thorn EMI Olympic Boiler 20/35B

Hi, we have a 40 year old boiler and usually very reliable. However we now have an issue.
The pilot light is on, all stats turned up, the pump comes on and I can hear the valve pulling in as I turn the stat up and down but there is no main gas supply to heat the radiators or boiler.
Any ideas? I'm guessing the valve but would like someone with more knowledge than me to confirm.

I would double check the motorised valve, testing for voltage if you have the correct equipment and knowledge on how to use it.

Quite a simple setup in the grand scheme of things, I would suspect pump and boiler are wired in parallel so both operate together. If Boiler is receiving power but still isn't working you'll need a Gas Safe Engineer.
