Three Phase Distribution Board at home?

I've probably been watching too much Holmes on Homes, and other American/Canadian home shows, but I really like the idea of radial circuits individually fused at the CU.

Something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Three-Phase-4...Breakers_RL?hash=item4a9c9fd97e#ht_1072wt_958

has loads of ways, quite reasonably prices, and looks nice too - given the space.

However, it has a three phase incoming isolator...

Would there be any issue in using this and just bridging the three incoming phases with a bit of normal busbar, or do they do single phase conversion kits.

Thoughts? Am I crazy? I think it could be a nice solution.

It is possible to get a single phase conversion kit. Does the isolator cut all 4 poles?

They do make a single phase link kit for the incomer.
That is an old range and the breakers are old BS3871 rather than BS 60898

I recall that has a 3 pole incomer.
The new ones can take 4 pole or a 3pole and solid neutral link
