Can you clarify that?

You have three ceiling lights - all on together or individually switched?

The u/c lighting...just on a switch on its own?

As I see it one of these will do:-

(We so need to start charging TLC-Direct per link!)

One switch controls half the kitchen lights, the next controls the other half (2 halves of three fittings? You know what I mean!) and the third controls the UC lighting.

If you mean two separate switches at two separate locations, then its a bit more complex wiring wise and you will need two of the above assuming you want to control all three circuits from both locations, ie back door and living room door or whatever.

Three way switching at three locations of three separate circuits???? wow, really necessary?

Anyway, that has to be grid in that case. You wont get a 3gang intermediate so you will have to make one using 3 intermediate grid modules, a 3gang grid and 3 gang grid plate. If you do this, its also best to make the 2 way switches at either end of the room out of grid in the same fashion. 3 times 2 way grid modules, 3g grid and plate again, then it all looks the same.

It cannot be that unusual to want to be able to turn on and off 3 separate lights in one room at 3 positions, or is it i do not khow, these grid modules are not the prettiest switch on the wall, may have to think again,

Thanks calledsfirst and you all

Its fairly uncommon, in my experience.

Grid switches dont have to be ugly. MK and Deta (No affiliation, well I used to work for Deta but i'm no fan of theirs apart from the products!) make their grid just as pretty as the rest of their gear.

Its the only way you will get what you want, and no real comprimise on aesthetics.

Thanks will have a ponder over it and let you know, thanks again for all your help,
