On all taps?
Hot?
Cold?
Kitchen?
Bathroom?
Type of tap?
How long have they been installed?
How often does it do it?

the taps are about 18 months old they are bathroom sink taps both hot and cold are tight also the utility room taps are the same also tight to turn on and off they were bought from B+Q thanks bas if i grease them they last about a month then go tight again

Silicone grease is what I use for taps. Other greases can attack rubber seals.

A lot of brassware that used to emanate from Italy now comes from China . Generally speaking the quality of many brassware items has now gone from bad to worse

Everything now comes from China  even the salmon @ T**** and that was Carp

Silcone grease is the only product to use on taps, couple of tips with crap taps, hot water temp has to be as low as poss as silicone grease will wash out after 65 degrees, if you have screw down taps when you take then apart undo the worm screw and clean by greasing then wipe clean again as brass on the broad thread can ingrain into the old deposits of grease, then regrease again.

Taps are the most used item in the house do not buy cheap import taps!!!!

Thanks to you all for your help i guese i will have to see the wife for more pocket money and buy some good tapps regards bas
