Tile backer boards jointing

Hi

Concrete floor and popping tile backer boards on to insulate the floor a little. 20mm boards.

Do I tape the joints and if so what type? What compound too please?

Will be tiling on top so any tips to prep the floor will be fully appreciated.

All building products come with a data sheet online that are fitting instructions / application instructions.

There will also be a safety data sheet just incase you swallow the tile backer board. Lol.
Go read the data sheet for the board you have..
